BioA collection of stories based loosely on personal current events, as well as musings on contemporary popular media. Veering wildly between verisimilitude and careless surrealism, the Lanithro strives for authenticity in its artifice.
About our protagonist
The Lanithro is an irreverent fop. A little bit vain, a little bit absent-minded, it manages to coast through most things on sheer blind luck and blithe optimism. For most practical purposes, it is charmingly useless.
Keep in mind that...
It isn't all that bright, but it does know a lot of words. It peaked at about fourteen or fifteen, and since then has been bluffing. So don't take anything it says too seriously. In fact, one might be wise to remember not to take anyone that talks about itself in the third person too seriously.
If it gets too unruly or cockily impertinent, the best thing to do is to give it a sharp slap on the wrist and put it in its place. The trouble is, though, that it'll probably secretly enjoy that too.

This journal guest-stars Olly Cat, infamous cat scientist. He is the Utahraptor to the Lanithro's T-Rex, grounding voice of reason to its hyperbole-riddled arm-waving and a foil to deflate its false-sense-of-entitlement raving.
